Job summary 

We are a relatively small creative department with a big workload and we’re looking for a creative star to help out. We need great concepts, compelling copy and powerful art direction for a whole host of world famous FMCG brands. One minute you could be crafting a trade press ad, the next scripting a film for social. Flexing your creative muscles on a standout piece of POS or an in-depot media campaign. This is not a product design role – you won’t be designing the stationery itself, but rather all the creative content that supports our brand, products and sales across every customer touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll design for almost every aspect of the brand – from website assets to trade show stands and packaging inserts. You’ll help ensure that every visual expression of Good Tuesday is instantly recognisable, commercially strong and creatively considered.

You’ll need to be just as comfortable creating a social ad or a product line sheet, as you are updating a product listing image. Some parts of the role are repetitive but essential, and when done well, they’re elevated by thoughtful visual storytelling and strategic thinking.

  • Product Listings – Prepare and manage the visuals for all product listings across our sales platforms. This includes explainer graphics, layout and asset prep. While maybe not all that exciting, this work is key to conversion and brand presentation. We’re looking for someone who brings care, consistency, and creativity to this task, with a view to best-in-class design (and who can find effeciency wins in this using AI or tools to speed up these processes, so we can spend more time on the really creative stuff)
  • Digital & Ecommerce – Create assets for our website and sales platforms/ marketplaces, including homepage banners, landing pages and platform headers. Ensure visuals are high-quality, on-brand and conversion-focused.
  • Social & Content Creation – Design eye-catching social posts, ads, and video content. This includes concepting and editing short-form videos in the Good Tuesday style.
  • Wholesale & Retail – Design catalogues, line sheets, POS materials and trade show stand graphics to support our retail and distributor partners.
  • Packaging & Brand Assets – Support with the design of bellybands, shipping packaging, inserts and printed collateral. Maintain consistency and quality across all physical brand experiences.
  • Marketing & PR – Create strong visuals for email campaigns, seasonal marketing and press outreach. Support with image selection and managing visual assets.
  • Other – Occasionally support the product design team (e.g. with templates or artwork setup), and assist in creative direction for photoshoots and brand storytelling.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in a graphic design role, ideally within a commercial or ecommerce setting
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to tell stories visually, across digital and print
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva Pro or similar)
  • A commercial mindset – you design with the audience, platform and purpose in mind
  • Experience managing product imagery and preparing assets for ecommerce listings
  • Comfortable using data insights (e.g. engagement, conversion) to inform design direction
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • A confident communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Adaptable and proactive – you can shift focus and respond to changing priorities with ease
  • Actively open to new design technologies, including the use of AI tools, with ethical considerations.

Company Mission & Product

Grasp’s mission is to increase the rate humans learn by re-thinking online learning. Our first product, Grasp Concepts, enables students to disambiguate and learn concepts through great online explanations and is deployed with design partners including Imperial College London. Our second product, Grasp Pathways, decomposes learning goals and suggests flexible learning trajectories to reach them, using reputable learning resources like books and lectures, and is in private alpha.

Our products are currently all web apps, including one browser extension.

Staff Designer – Product/UX

You will work in a flat hierarchy with experienced research scientists, engineers, and a second designer, to create solutions to tricky problems for self-directed, adult learners.

Together with another designer, you will be proposing user experiences, creating and testing prototypes, and preparing high fidelity wireframes. You will also be involved in user research, testing, and GTM strategy.

Your colleagues will expect you to go about your work in a systematic and organised fashion, with an eye for edge cases.

You will need to master business domain knowledge to inform your solutions, like education practitioner insights and academic knowledge.

You will be free to use whatever tools you like to work effectively. We currently design with Figma and occasionally Balsamiq, as well as some AI tools/plugins. If you can code you are welcome to tinker yourself.

 

Team and Funding

We’ve raised millions of dollars from top tier investors including Balderton Capital, Mozilla (yes, Firefox), and Point9. Our founder Ed built the Payments and Trading products at Revolut alongside his bachelors and masters degrees. He was also one of a handful of investors at DST Global. Our team have backgrounds in elite institutions including Revolut, Huawei, Max-Planck Institute, Oxford, and Cambridge; with work so hard and important we cannot afford to work with anyone but the best.

  • have 10+ years experience across UX, UI, product design, and GTM for web or mobile apps.

The successful applicant will play an important role in designing marketing material including sales presentations to support the Partnerships team in the attraction and securing of new commercial partners around the world.

What you’ll do:

In collaboration with our creative team, you’ll be working across branding, retail campaigns, experiential, POS, web, email and social content. One minute you could be developing the look and feel for a national launch campaign, the next creating visuals for an immersive brand activation.

Your roles & responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to create new wine lists and manage changes to existing customer wine lists with a high attention to detail.
  • Competent use in Adobe InDesign, with a good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, to assist in designing other promotional materials with support from the Graphic Designer & Senior Graphic Designer.

Ideally you would:

  • Have 1-2 years experience, but this is a great role to gain experience in the design industry, so would encourage graduates in Graphic Design to apply.
  • Have a passion for all things design, layout, typography and print
  • Have a good capability with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop.
  • Have a great attention to detail, good communication skills and good time management.
  • Knowledge of paragraph and character styles in Indesign is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a talented, self-sufficient Senior Graphic Designer to take full ownership of the organisation’s visual identity. Key Responsibilities

Strategic brand management

This role is for a senior brand designer who wants that kind of variety – and who’s ready to shape work that resonates across sectors, platforms, and cultures. Regional experience is a bonus, but ultimately, we’re after a curious, brave and bold, conceptual designer and thinker – who’s ready to take ownership, push boundaries, and shape work that makes an impact.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Concept and craft standout brand identities across sectors – F&B, hospitality, travel, wellness, destination, culture, and civic
  • Lead the visual direction and design development from concept to delivery.
  • Collaborate with strategists, writers, motion designers, and developers to build out full brand worlds
  • Guide and mentor junior and midweight designers, while taking full ownership of your own creative
  • Present your work clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients – backed by rationale, not just visuals
  • Push beyond the brief, challenge conventions, and contribute to a studio culture of originality and excellence

 

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 6+ years in brand or design studios (global or boutique), with a portfolio that shows conceptual strength and design craft
  • A sharp, conceptual and strategic eye for systems, typography, layout, and storytelling
  • Versatility across styles, sectors, and platforms – from print to digital, spatial to social
  • Comfort working collaboratively and independently, owning outcomes as well as ideas
  • Calm under pressure, curious in the process, and never afraid to push things further

The Graphic Design Manager Role is an exciting opportunity to join the vibrant Digital Marketing and Communications team here at Kent Students’ Union at a pivotal time as we launch our new brand this summer.

The successful post-holder will be instrumental in the implementation and success of the new organisational brand for Kent Students’ Union.

Day-to-day operations for this role will look like working with teams across the organisation to deliver diverse projects and campaigns across a range of channels for both print and digital assets. The Graphic Design Manager will be responsible for creating design work that engages our student population, represents our values and culture and elevates the overall creative output of our department.

The successful post-holder will be designing assets for a student nightclub, bar, coffee shop, clothing store and nursery, as well as our student-facing support services like student voice, advice and well-being. They will also be designing and involved in the creative direction for larger projects like Varsity, our leadership elections, and Summer Ball.

We are an agile department, which means we often work to short deadlines and need to be reactive based off many external factors that impact our activity. The successful post-holder should be used to working under pressure, but also as an integral member of a lean, tight-knit team, who support each other and are highly collaborative, working as creative leaders within the students’ union industry.

The successful post-holder will be responsible for managing the design and print budget, as well as relationships with internal and external service providers, support teams and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Duties

  • Leading graphic design and motion graphics functions within the Digital Marketing and Communications team.
  • Leading our design projects from concept through to completion across all physical and digital marketing channels.
  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of promotional materials for all of Kent Students’ Union’s commercial and non-commercial services.
  • Work alongside the Head of Marketing and Communications to contribute to and support the delivery of strong marketing campaigns and oversee activity from other members of the department when required.

Purpose of the role

– Collaborate with the design team to contribute to ongoing projects, gaining exposure to real-world design tasks.

Overview

Having previous experience as an established Design Admin Assistant and or Assistant Designer, the Junior Print Designer will be responsible for supporting the Design Team with increased responsibility, ownership and creative output, this includes increased brand awareness and an evolving sense of colour.

Supported and mentored by a Designer/Senior you will be designing innovative and unique products with the Boden customer in mind. Working alongside the product and design teams, Juniors, see the garments all the way through from initial concept to production.

Location: 4 days per week based at our North Acton Office & 1 day WFH

What You Will Do

  • Design innovative and unique ranges for our customer base
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are important from sketch stage to production
  • Produce detailed technical CAD drawings/artwork packs
  • Maintain critical path dates and ensure deadlines are met
  • Be involved in approvals at all stages from development to production
  • Gain inspiration and innovative design ideas from a variety of sources, including competitors & inspirational brands
  • PLM management including uploading of tech packs/artworks, colours, and creating BOMS
  • Weekly Critical Path management for approvals
  • Attending fits with initial support
  • Presenting with the support of your manager

What We Are Looking For
